Very Flirtatious, but Doubts What Love Is.
Acuña isn’t from an island.
Thus proving his point that many cannot find Venezuela on a map.
Acuña isn’t from an island.
Acuña isn’t from an island.
To the fanbase he's been the next coming of Chipper.
Name ONE player who has been as open about his desire to remain a Brave for his entire career since Chipper began his later years. Now name one that also has an NL MVP in his trophy case. Add to that one that was the unquestioned team leader on the field, in the clubhouse, and in the media.
I'll save you some time - you can't.
Here's your optics and spin FWIW - Chipper was the good old southern white boy while Druw' was a superstar with dark skin from an island that most people watching the Braves every night couldn't find on a map. Who's team was it? Freddie's the white kid who ingratiated himself, became Chipper's best friend, and adopted Atlanta as home while Acuna is a superstar with dark skin from an island that most people watching the Braves every night can't find on a map..
It's unbelievably unfortunate that things are that way in the south in the 21st century, but it is what it is.

Isn't everything just one big island?

FanGraphs' new projections are out...

81-81 with the Mutts winning 91 games.
If the organization's interior projections resemble those, it might not be a bad idea to start selling now while there are more buyers. Almost no chance either wildcard comes out of the NL East, so if you're going to try to chase them down it's probably time to shake things up - if he's going to overpay to try to make that happen in 2021, the time is probably already here.
It's likely time to shake some things up regardless of which approach he decides to take.
We knew we were likely going in a bat short of a contender. Not having Soroka at all hurts massively but when Ozuna went out... we got exposed. Even a great year from Riley isn’t keeping the offense afloat
