Ender plus Blair is underwhelming, but it's exactly what they were rumored to be looking for: up the middle position player and a pitcher ready to go this year.

Fangraphs likes Inciarte a little less- 3.3 WAR, which is respectable.

I'm just skeptical of counting on an outfielder whose entire offensive skill set is hitting singles.

Yep. If he doubles his walk rate well have something but as is, I just don't see the appeal. I also don't trust defensive metrics

We had the best defender in baseball with 5 years of control left not too recently.

We turned 1 year of Heyward into 1 year of Miller and then turned that back into 5 years of Heyward 2.0, only cheaper and younger. Well played Johns.

That’s an impressive haul for Miller, as Swanson was selected with the first overall pick in the draft just six months ago.
