Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

I'm very confused.

We have been told by the person with an impeccable record of being right that SF was still great and there were no issues.

What gives?

He's also been telling us that we're whining because the Sussman case didn't go our way despite the fact that we have evidence that he did lie.

First welcome back thethe.

Second I take it you refer to me.

Third is there a particular post you would like me to defend. I'm pretty sure I've never said San Francisco has no issues. But it is a pretty cool (being a little punny there) place.

Fourth, I enjoyed my trip to San Francisco a couple months ago and recommend it as a destination.

First - Thank you. Breaks are a good thing.

Second - Correct

Third - You know I speak in exaggeration. The overall tone of your posting on this subject is that the problems are way overblown.

Fourth - SF is beautiful and loved my trip there in late 2019 as well. Thats why what has happened is so tragic.

He's also been telling us that we're whining because the Sussman case didn't go our way despite the fact that we have evidence that he did lie.

He knows - He just can't give up the schtick. Its all a production.

San Francisco has had a dysfunctional school board and city council for a very long time. For decades. It has had a big homeless population for decades. A big population of teenage runaways for decades. Insanely restrictive permitting processes for new housing for decades. And it's population grew throughout that time because of its charms and the growth spawned by Silicon Valley. So it will have to figure out how to reinvent itself after the pandemic and widespread adoption of working from home practices. Perhaps it will conclude that a smaller population works better for it.

Maybe this post from May 29 will refresh the memories of any posters thinking I've claimed San Francisco "has no issues."

It goes without saying that it is an act of great generosity on my part to allow for the possibility that such posters are merely having memory problems rather than engaging in bad faith posting.

I mean - As usual you're years late to the party and focus on the wrong issues.

SF has been destroyed by an intentional process launched by Soros. All of his plants that seek to destabilize our great cities will be removed.

We've been arguing with this buffoon for quite some time about this... he insists on living in the past. SF used to be great. NYC used to be great. California used to be great.

But looking at the trends... they have peaked

Those places could become great again in a matter of months.

I'm praying for Giuliani to win. NYC would get all of its population back and more.

Still a tremendous place to live but those in power do not want to protect their constituency.

How anyone could have voted for Chesa is beyond me. His parents were scum. His adopted parents were scum. He is in the same vein. Disgusting communists that deserve nothing but condemnation from the world.

The two of you might learn something if you go back and look at who backed Chesa Boudin and who opposed him back in 2019.

For me it brings back memories of a Berkeley city council race I was slightly involved in a dozen years earlier. The candidate I favored was well to the left by any standard. But the incumbent he was trying to unseat was in an entirely different solar system. Anyhow such are the politics of certain communities in Northern California.

I hope the people of San Francisco remember the hard lessons learned from electing Chesa Boudin.

Its going to take decades to re-educate the people that have similar ideological leanings to those in northern California.

A mind virus has infected the country....intentionally.

It wouldn't be a bad thing if Boudin became the poster child of the damage that can be done by adopting the policies of the left wing of the Democratic Party and electing people from that wing. It is worth noting that his biggest endorser in 2019 was none other than Bernie Sanders. Caveat emptor.

Every Soros DA will be that and you know it.

Been telling you for almost a decade.

Having FOUR terrorist parents is kind of a lot…

I try not to give people too much credit for their parents. But running multiple companies, including casinos, into the ground. That takes a special sort of talent and skill, and is definitely a sign of being well qualified for public office.

San Francisco is a ****hole
I went to Berkeley and spent 7 years living in the Bay Area. I had issues with the Bay Area but otherwise really like the area in a general sense.

But I could not agree with you more about San Francisco. I have heard it was a magical place before the tech takeover though.

some interesting data to chew on
