It seems to me a good idea to have some low cost housing spread out across every municipality rather than warehousing all of it in a ghetto.
Among other things it gives more children from low-income families a chance to attend school in a good school district. Something I favor on a more comprehensive basis by expanding vouchers and other means of increasing choice and competition in education.
NIMBYism is strong in California and has contributed to its shortage of affordable. It is good to see a push back against it. Even if it runs against the "rights" of rich folks to live in insular enclaves.
When you think about something like education attainment, do you factor is something like "person understands and accepts covid was created in a lab and it escaped" vs "covid came from a bat in a wet market"?
Or do you only consider a piece of paper attained following the latest death to jews protest?
By the way...
If you want nsacpi to post random crimes stories about Oklahoma, just point out the latest thug knifing a woman to death in NYC
But if you want nsacpi to be silent, just ask him if covid came from a lab
There does seem to be a correlation.
I for one think this represents great progress. Hes using the trash can! They just use the streets in San Francisco.
W for NYC. Oklahoma has much to learn

there’s a balance between public safety measures and personal liberty that is often ignored by the right in these discussions.
The left is authoritarian against law abiding citizens.
The right, or at least sturg33, wants to aggressively punish people who break our laws
This only works for as long as the laws are just and the enforcement of laws traditionally doesn’t scale down if an oppressive law is passed. Which is why I bring up COVID. What you’re describing as authoritarian is still ultimately the cops enforcing the laws as passed.
