Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

An interest recent trend is the emergence of some great asian comics (mostly female). Here too the blue states seem to be getting a natural demographic boost when it comes to producing humor of a high quality.

not bad...the atheist clubs on the west side will appreciate this one

i recently read an article (i think it was serious) saying there should be a moral exemption created for non-believers...cuz it was unfair that believers have a religious exemption and non-believers have nothing

Lewis black is awesome

Na fraud boy. It’s really stupid. But go on king. I mean, there’s people who think Kevin James is funny.

Humor requires a degree of self deprication.
Conservatives take themselves far too seriously.

Reagan and Dole had very good senses of humor.

When he worked as an actor for Warner Brothers, Reagan always sat at the "fast table" during lunch, which is where he developed some of his gift for humor.

Dole's humor is often quite dark and very good.

Stalin btw was quite witty. Hangman's humor.

Not sure if the right or the left gets to claim him.

Would either Dole or Reagan be considered conservative in 2021.

So yeah they were funny but like 25 -30 years ago funny.

Henny Youngman was once funny. So was The Rat Pack

If they were active in politics today many would say they are RINOs, but I'm not inclined to allow that crowd to be the arbiters of who is a conservative.

They would be moderates in the same vein as Mitt and McCain, assuming their stances hadn't adapted over time. I'm not sure why anyone would assume that.

Of course Bill Clinton's policies were closer to President Trump than they are to President Biden, but I know it upsets you guys to face how radical the entire Dem party has become.

Bill Clinton and Trumps immigration policies are not that far off....

See IIRIRA. This was hte Democrat party I voted for childishly in 2008.

Democrats used to care about working class Americans. Trump just took the mantle they dropped after they went crazy when Dubya won.
