After the injuries to medlen and beachy, I think wood realizes he needs to grow up and harden his mindset. I think he realizes the braves need him to last as long as he can when on the mound

Yeah Uggla has 9 walks this spring. Easily leads the team and gives him a 432 OBP. If he can hit 250~ with his normal power he will give us the most offense of anyone that can play the position. I'm not holding my breath though.

I think that is all anyone realistically expected from Uggla when we got him. We just have not gotten that from him. Heck I would take the .240 and 36 HR's he gave us in 2011 and be thrilled beyond belief about it.

Yeah. IF he hit 240 He'd like have a 350+ OBP too with the way his walk rate has improved lately. I still think that's a double edged sword to go along with an increased K%. Still. Something like 240/350/450 would be awesome. I think if we could get a 750+ OPS out of him then we're gold.
