Hillary gave them cover for it too, when she stated the dems should be uncivil. Bet the democrats would love for her to go away.

They should definitely straighten up, put their shoulders back, and handle defeat with the grace and decorum of the 2009-2010 minority party.

I think what you’re saying just plays into a status quo that ensures that powerless people—regardless of party or ideology—will stay that way.

So the GOP closing argument seems to be “mob rule,” a phantom tax cut, and xenophobic scaremongering.
 
Ome thing that gets me is how when each side is in power they tell the other side what they need to do to get back into power. Why would Republicans be trying to help democrats strategy or vice versa. Thats the last persons advice they should take. Its not really advice its propoganda meant to divide the other party.

I’d like to know the source for the claim that 75% of the “no-match” registrations were on the basis of SSN. That may be the case, but I’d prefer to see the primary source. Given the context here, I’m somewhat skeptical of the claim.

Erickson (being Erickson) is playing some semantic games, here, too. A few that I noticed:

The New Georgia Project, like any third-party voter reg organization, is LEGALLY REQUIRED to submit all applications given to them, even if they are known to be incomplete or to contain errors. An honest account of these numbers would include that fact.

Also, since when is being a first-time voter suspicious?

What he’s uncritically calling “voter fraud” is not voter fraud at all. Calling it that requires two huge logical leaps: first, that the rejected application was fraudulent, rather than merely invalid, and second, that the it was used to vote or attempt to vote.
 
Ok, to try to answer my own question: what Erickson is calling “failed SSN verification” includes people whose personal voter info doesn’t match their SSA info—it doesn’t imply some kind of SS fraud, as is I think the implication. That includes, per an example cited in the AJC, a guy whose legal name is “Willie” being flagged because a government document erroneously lists him as “William.”

yeah, i was like, if they haven't voted

it can't be voter fraud


but have seen people get arrested and their only charge was "resisting arrest"

which makes zero sense and should always be thrown out immediately imo cause you would have to have a valid reason to arrest someone to then get a 2nd charge that is resisting
 
Brian Kemp had better have some serious ****ing evidence of hacking by the Democratic Party to have his official state office claim to be investigating it 2 days before the election.

LOL, yeah evidence is so essential these days for any type of political claim. You well know that.

I will be surprised if the Blue Wave is as big as advertised, but I do believe the US House will go to the Dems. Senate probably stays as it is because of the map. Curious to see how the gubernatorial and state legislative races turn out. Seems that the suburbs will be the battleground for control of government moving forward.

Here in Minnesota, Amy Klobuchar is a shoo-in, Tina Smith (appointee who replaced Franken) is in a tight race for that Senate seat but will probably squeak through, and retiring member of Congress Tim Walz will likely win the Governor's race. The ugliest race is for Attorney General with two candidates--Keith Ellison and Doug Wardlow--who both have more warts than a princess at a frog convention. Lots of congressional battles, with four seats likely flipping (two going from R-to-D and two going from D-to-R). Battle for control of Minnesota House of Representatives is, as in the national race, being fought feverishly in the suburbs.
