The Coronavirus, not the beer

Well it is her fault. It's also McConnell's and everyone else in congress. None of them give a ****.

It's absolutely primarily Nancy's fault. She didn't want Trump to get the win of a stimulus before the election. She's admitted that.

If it was her fault why did she pass a bill in October?

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/covid-relief-bill-house-representatives-october-recess/

"The House narrowly passed a $2.2 trillion aid bill on Thursday evening, a slimmed-down version of the $3.4 trillion relief bill the House passed in May.

The legislation is unlikely to pass in the Senate, as the Republican majority is unwilling to consider a proposal that costs more than $2 trillion. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Wednesday that "the thought that Senate Republicans would go up to $2.2 trillion is outlandish." "

Trump administration and the House Dems wanted a big package to pass. It was Mitch and Senate Republicans who killed it. Get over yourself. It's clear that Mitch is the reason no stimulus deal was passed. Not Pelosi as the House sent at least 2 bills to the Senate where they died on Mitch's desk.

Lulz that article. Maybe we can beat the virus by burning sage around our bed every evening.

DO you know why those things correllate? Low Vitamin D tends to happen when most of the world isn't getting enough sun. I don't know about you all but right now we're 2 and ahlf hours til sunset and it's 30 degrees outside. There's no way of getting vitamin Dwithout risking pneumonia except for, wait for it, supplements. .

Anyway, rather than listen to epidemiologists, we should listen to an investor with interests in BioMed anti-aging.

Yeah...Vitamin D deficiency being an issue has been known since the spring.

A lot of those bills were worse then what's on the Presidents desk right now with the pork that was added to it. If they really cared they would have sent a bill without all that garbage attached to it and just done the bare necessity's to help small business' and the people. But they won't do that for obvious reasons.

Also Pelosi famously refused to cave on the amount of the stimulus until after the election just so Trump wouldn't potentially get a boost. It's all for personal and political gain on both sides. Arguing one way or another is what they want you to do.

Nah. You see you're wrong about pork. All bills have pork. Having more or less pork is silly. Though this last one is chock full of it. And as I recal there wasn't any attempt to get people thrown into jail.

Why should she cave on the amount? She walked back from the original bill, the origianl heroes act was a 3 Trillion dollar Bill. Why should she have caved in without any certainties from the Senate.

BTW for fun, in this month, Republicans shat on Dr. Jill Biden for calling herself a Doctor. And then cited the number of Doctors in things like the Vitamin D for All.

Dr. Karl Pfleger, PhD AI & Computer Science

Dr. Gareth Davies, PhD Medical Physics

Dr. Bruce W Hollis, PhD. Professor of Pediatrics

Dr. William B. Grant, PhD Physics,

Dr. Peter H Cobbold, PhD

Dr. Afrozul Haq, PhD

Dr. Susan J Whiting, PhD

I'm aware all bills have pork which kind of proves my point. If they actually cared about the American public they wouldn't have added any of that **** into a stimulus bill. The only gives us these scraps while they feast.

As for Pelosi caving. It's all about the timing. She doesn't care if Americans get any money or not. She is using it as a political tool. Refusing to back down before the election was a way to hurt Trump. Doing it now is a push to turn Georgia blue (and also while Mitch is giving up anything to keep it red).

Again, these people don't care about you or me. Not that I needed a pandemic to know this but it should be clear to everyone else now.

It wasn't a serious attempt at actually getting relief out. It was designed to give left wing media a chance to do what you're doing here, point to something completely unrealistic and claim Nancy did her part and we're all just waiting on those evil Republicans:

https://nypost.com/2020/10/06/nancy-pelosis-covid-relief-bill-is-mainly-just-a-left-wing-wish-list/

Instead, though Pelosi never mentions it, her bill would rewrite election law for 2020, barring voter ID requirements, forcing states to count absentee ballots that arrive as late as 10 days after Election Day and imposing same-day voter registration everywhere, though currently only 21 states allow it. These changes don’t belong in a stimulus bill.

There is almost no disagreement between Republicans and Democrats over sending every American adult a $1,200 check. But that’s a small part of the total bill. Pelosi’s version would fritter away hundreds of billions of dollars closing state and city budget gaps, with nothing long-term to show for it. We won’t be any more prepared for the next pandemic.

Pelosi’s bill promises school districts $225 billion, but only $5 billion, or 2 percent, would go to making schools safer by improving air quality or installing sinks and other hygiene upgrades.

The rest is a teachers union protection plan. Astonishingly, school districts that economize and reduce per-pupil spending or change labor contracts are automatically ineligible for stimulus funding.
...
The bill allocates $120 billion in grants for restaurants. New York City needs this help, because half its restaurants are on the brink of closing in the next six months, taking 160,000 jobs with them. Unfortunately, the funding is saddled with unfair, and possibly unconstitutional, preferences for minority- and women-owned businesses. Right now, everyone needs help.

The House bill spends some money wisely — $200 million for a vaccine awareness campaign, $20 million to upgrade the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s disease early alert system and $500 million for a nursing strike force to respond fast when a nursing home is hit with COVID-19. But these important items are getting millions of dollars, while the politically cynical provisions get billions. For example, $5 billion for community development block grants that the bill labels “flexible resources.” In other words: walking-around money for local pols.

Haha

Nice, going to the NYPost. In an article written by former NY Lt. Gov.

Again, why did Mitch not meet her? Why did the Senate not draft a bill? Bills can be drafted in either house.

Of course they don't care about us. If they did we wouldn't have had a number of Senators shorting the market with insider information. Being protected by laws. Only a fool wouldn't think that people don't care about them.

Pelosi did not cave, this Bill she's passing because she wants something with Biden in the White House.

As far as pork, it's how the system works. If you want to fix that part of the system, we'll wind up in a deadlocked system.

Yeah, I went to the Post because the sources sympathetic to the Democrats, like yours, didn't include the details that made it unrealistic.

You're trying to compare a CBSNews report to a NYPost oped, again, literally written by George Pataki's Lt. Gov?
