The Coronavirus, not the beer

One of those is almost two months old. The other says such things as -

"That research hasn’t been peer-reviewed yet. And it’s a small study, Farber notes, with plenty of uncertainty; ruling out cross-reactivity entirely is a difficult task. “I think you need really big cohort studies to assess that this is possible,” she says. And in any case, back to that original caveat: Nothing about the results says that a T cell response alone confers immunity to Covid-19. But to Buggert, it demonstrates the importance of looking beyond antibodies alone when investigating potential immunity."

Fact is, we don't KNOW herd immunity is an option. We just don't. Not yet.

If the antibody our body produces isn't proving effective long term, that's a problem for a vaccine also.

It's a problem for when they are making one. We may end up having to do boosters. Who knows. Definitely something that will have to be addressed. Either way, shooting for herd immunity before those questions are answered is crazy.

So there is a fairly low threshold for you on how much we should sacrifice to save lives, but there is absolutely no cost too high to defeat Marxists?

Virus may kill 1m people world wide.

America falling to marxism will destablize the world and lead to potentially hundreds of millions of deaths.

it seriously reminds me of **** like this:

The article which was 2 months old is to show that the belief the body can launch an effective immune response without traditional antibodies was in the public space for a duration of the discussion on this forum.

I suppose berd immunity could end up not working but that woild go against effectively all known history so I'm comfortable not jumping into that panic narrative.

What are you even babbling about now? There are many coronaviruses out there that only show antibodies for a few months to a year. It would actually be the exception rather than the rule for this one to actually achieve herd immunity. Every day it’s clearer you have no idea what you are mumbling about.

Its cute when you show how little you know and how a difference of a few months to a year can impact strategy.

Now please go find me articles of any virus that the body builds immunity against for less than 3 months.
