The Coronavirus, not the beer

Yes and no.

We should take care of ourselves and take responsibility for our health.

But with infectious diseases an individual will not typically internalize the costs that others bear for their actions. This means there is a role for government action. Requiring vaccines for example as a condition for attending public schools.

The same could be said of traffic rules. We should take care of ourselves and take responsibility for driving safely. But there are external costs to our not driving safely that many will not internalize. Hence government intervention in the form of speed limits and other rules.

Requiring a vaccine thats been researched for about 18 months is absurdity.

But I can agree with ones own health being their own concern. Most people do not.

Hoax causing Cardinals-Pirates series to be postponed.
Cardinals have played 5 games and Braves 17.

Cardinals have it in for Trump

DeSantis has rescinded the order requiring visitors from NY, NJ and CT to quarantine for 14 days. Long overdue.

Deaths per million?

yeah...projected to make it all the way to #3 by December...behind only NY and NJ

don't think that you'll catch NY and NJ this year...but next year first quarter I think it might happen especially if the excess death numbers are used

it's kind of how we started way behind France, Italy and Spain...we gave them a head start...but we already blown past France and gonna catch the others by year end

Maybe... cases are dropping though. If they call off sec football though, I expect us and all sec states to pass NY and NJ.

Hey if mass protests can't spread it not sure why a bike rally will.

But I know many are hoping for pain

GM John Mozeliak said that 8 of the 13 people who tested positive are showing symptoms. He didn't break it down between players and other personnel.

I was symptomatic insomuch as I was aware I had Coronavirus and noticed that there was a reason for my severe fatigue. I could have very easily gone through a full cycle of the virus unaware of the cause.

Symptomatic is far too subjective to draw any sort of conclusion from.
