Technically yes but it has to be an egregious and indisputable lie to be prosecuted. That's not what the law says but that's how it's used in practice. Something like Bill Barr saying Trump never suggested investigating anyone is an obvious lie but without direct evidence of Trump telling him something it wouldn't be prosecuted. Even if we had that it would still be 50/50.
 
So if your elected guy and his hand picked FBI director don't run the FBI and set the priorities what makes you think Trump could "fix" the issue if he was elected again?

Trump didn’t realize the extent to which the gop establishment wanted to kill him. Therefore, listening to fat pieces of **** like Christie won’t happen again.

There is no way any reasonable can read these Twitter files and feel like Twitter wasn't actively pushing an agenda, aided by members of our government, in order to influence the American public politically.

And this is coming from someone who has been anti-Trump as can be.
 
You arent big on US history are you. I dont mean that as condescendingly as it probably comes off, but the government has throughout US history done this. And its not illegal or unconstitutional. Marijuana prohibition was literally born from the Head of the Bureau of Prohibition wanting to save his job now that alcohol prohibition was ending and ghost wrote a bunch of fake news articles attributing marijuana use to violent crimes then used those newspaper articles as evidence in hearings. The only relevant questions are was it illegal or unconstitutional. And the answer is no. If you dont like what went on thats fine, you get to vote for politicians who get to appoint someone to run the FBI and change what you dont like about it. If we are to blame anyone here it would be the person who appointed the head of the FBI and that wasnt Joe Biden or the Democrats. I dont give two ****s about what happened. I also dont care that Elon Musk used twitter to endorse Republicans in the midterms. I dont care if Elon Musk "fact checks" Joe Biden on twatter. I dont care if Elon Musk arbitrarily bans liberals on twatter. I dont care if Elon Musk works with the FBI in the same way Republicans are mad about but against Democrats. If twatter really influences who people vote for that much then we are doomed as a country to begin with.

My read is twitter had a moderation policy biased against lies and deza. It wasnt perfect. Sometimes they made calls that they would like to take back.

I also make the observation that if people who hold a particular ideology have a predilection for lies and deza then moderation that targets lies and deza will have the effect of discriminating against partisans of that ideology.

Lies and deza as defined by people of your proclivity. You know hacks without any proof. Claims of Russian disinformation without any proof. Those kinds of things.

We already know that Musk doesn't understand Tolkien.

First off no one would ever agree as to who was pulling any strings on twitter, was it CHina, was it the CIA, FBI, KGB, Massad, etc. Secondly what was Twitter given or promised to make GRima become wormtongue? We know GRima was promised Eowyn by Saruman by acting as a spy and agent for Isengard.

THat being said, he probably doesn't know any other references and watched the Lord fo the Rings movies a few times so he thought it was apt. If your allegation is that twitter did the bidding of the government to suppress certain thoughts, etc. call them Thinkpol.

I'm assuming he went with Wormtongue because of making things weaker as an added perk, then he willfully is ignoring the irony in his fanbase, the keyboard warriors who talk up everything he does but don't own a single product of his.
