I read where he spent the entire off-season in Arizona completely reworking his swing with both a hitting coach (Hinske) and a mental conditioning coach.

Looks like we're going to see if the mental conditioning pays dividends right quick.

Heywood is turning into a Melvin situation. Its going to be a long 8 years if he doesnt turn it around. I imagine things get ugly when he declines the opt out. If he continues this bad he should opt out just out of shame.

It doesn't matter at all for either but if you were to make an argument as to which player has a better track record of hitting success then is there really a comparison?
