Not really, he has good arm and range numbers at third so it remains to be seen how good or bad he can be there. He's not been near CJ bad at third and only had a -3 DRS there last year with us, mostly due to the errors. That is below average, but not terrible as you and Bowman keep asserting. We have a bigger issue at short with Aybar and Olivera in LF and also AJP is terrible at catcher of course.

Then you'd score a lot less runs. I'm sure you realize Heyward was quite a bit better than Nick the stick last year with the bat. Nick is barely a league average player.

I think the front office honestly thought this team would be better this year. With how bad this team looks, how dysfunctional they look, and how many guys are under achieving, I really wonder how long Fredi will last.

Scary if they believe some of the stuff they've said in general IMO. I am hoping it's mostly BS outside of them obviously believing some of it (Olivera for example).

Nah I fully expect an announcement for a lifetime extension for Fredi shortly.

I'm hoping Coppy walks out on the field and calls Fredi to the mound and fires him then signals for Perez to come from the bullpen to manage. That would be epic.

Perez did a great job managing some team this winter. I think Kenny Powers was their closer.
