That was part of the rework was to change the law so there were degrees of penalties. Under the modified SB1414 an adult soliciting a minor (aka someone over 18 wanting to hire a 15 year old for sex) would have the same penalty as the original bill. They softened it for people under 18, and people around 18 depending on the age difference.
