Trade deadline thread

I’m sure AA gathered his own fair share of sarcasm at the 2021 deadline but Preller seems particularly directionless

The biggest difference here is the Braves had 1 or maybe 2 teams to catch in an underperforming division. They also had plenty of games agaisnt the competition to catch up. Padres are only 5 games out but don't have the luxury of playing those teams a lot and there are currently 5 teams within 1 game of eachother for 3 spots. Plus the Cubs who are also ahead of the Padres. Anything can happen because baseball but that's a lot of teams to catch.

They are easily the most talented team out of all of them though

I still go back every few weeks and read that 2021 trade deadline thread. There’s A LOT of fun posts and reactions in there to us trading for Soler, Duvall, Rosario.

Very good humble pie in that thread for everyone.

What the Braves did was pretty unrealistic. Just a dream scenario that rarely happens.

All this about Hand and jobs and not one mention of Cy's mom. I'm disappointed in all of you.
