In the offseason, I'd like to trade for justin turner. What you think it would take?
I'd rather just keep Uribe.
Turner only has 1 more year of control after this year.

You think we could get uribe to sign for 1 year or would it take 2? With nobody available at 3b in free agency, we may have a little competition for uribe.
Probably or 1 year, with a vesting option depending on AB's.
Not much out there at 3B.
Friedman laughs and hangs up the phone.
Seager is the top prospect in baseball, get real.
He's ONE of the top in baseball. With no place to play, especially since he's going to be a 3B at the ML level.
Oakland traded Russell to the Cubs last year for Smardzjia who had less time left to control and is very arguably a lesser pitcher.
The Dodgers might not do it. But, I would. In the drop of a hat.

I rather doubt anyone laughs at that. Who knows that package would get it down. But, Shelby Miller was a top 10 prospect 3 years ago and is currently living up the hype. If he can't get Seager then who exactly can he get? Front line starters generally bring back elite prospects.

Yep, the Dodgers probably wouldn't make that trade simply because they aren't going to trade Seager, but they wouldn't laugh at it. Miller has a ton of value as one of the best starters in the NL who is under team control through 2018. And the trade makes sense from the Dodgers needs both this year and going forward. Anderson has been one of the most injury prone starters in baseball the past 4-5 years, and Bolsinger seems to have started to fall down towards his talent level over the last month and a half. They could use another starter this year and going forward into next year, and need a SS for the future, so it would be a pretty fair trade for both sides.
Hearing some reports from LA about clashing between management and Puig I'd inquire what it would take to get him.
I just looked at his contract, thats so team friendly.
Dodgers have plenty of pitching, their problem over the last few years has been offense.
I'd love to get Seager but its very unlikely LA trades him.
How have the Dodgers problems been offense the last few years? They've had one of the best offenses in the NL practically every year the last few years. They have not had much weakness at all recently, as evidence of their W/L records.
Yes pitching is not a "need" for them, but teams like the Dodgers are always looking to improve. Even teams like Dodgers have a payroll limitations. Miller gives them a lot of payroll flexibility for the next 3 years. Would you rather pay Greinke or Price 25 million next year or pay Miller a fraction of the cost for similar results?
They have Turner at the hot corner for a little while longer and he is doing outstanding for them. So it wouldn't be extremely shocking for them to move Seager for a high end pitcher like Miller.
Maybe they dont laugh it off but they have McCarthy and Ryu back next year, and can always sign someone without trading Seager.
Yah but I don't know if I'd want to gamble on Puig not being a clubhouse problem
