In a remarkable press conference, Gov. Brian Kemp squashed the idea

of a special legislative session to oust Fulton County DA Fani Willis --

and warned fellow Republicans of the risks in trying to use

government powers to punish her.

"
The bottom line is that in the state of Georgia, as long as I'm governor, we're going to follow the law and the Constitution.”

well, looks like so much for that

He doesn't really have a choice. Anything they could try would require several Democrats to vote with them.

Though a civil proceeding --- the corruption all the same.
Dating back to and investigated pre presidency

The crimes never stop. New York Attorney General accuses Trump

of overstating his net worth in business dealings by between $812 million

to $2.2 billion each year from 2011 to 2021. It was an illegal scheme

to get loans on more favorable terms, and to cheat on his taxes.

She is asking the Judge for summary judgement on part of the case meaning that the evidence is so overwhelmingly beyond dispute that there's no point in a trial. When Trump has a property listed as 30k square feet when its actually under 11k square feet there's no disputing that.

We all agree that Rudy Giuliani is senile. But we never talk about Donald Trump

being senile enough to think that someone as senile as Giuliani could help him

overthrow the government. The 2024 Republican “frontrunner” is clearly

senile and we should all be talking about it.

Actually we should be talking about the fact that both the Republican frontrunner and sitting Democrat president are both senile. You truly are the thethe of the left.

"Elected officials have to do what's popular and sometimes not what's right and that's a problem. That's why I think people get nervous with Trump. He doesn't do what's popular or what's right."

With lawyers like this who needs prosecutors.

Looks like very poorly chosen one was not an innocent bystander with respect to the fake electors scheme.

Trump no paying the legal fees for his co-defendants even though he has a war chest of millions in donations from his cult followers.

I predict that this will ultimately do him in. Why should they have to spend their own money to protect him?

And Trump loses in court yet again. His upcoming trial regarding E Jean Carroll will only be about how much he owes her not if he defamed her. I am sure he will take that well.

Jack Smith has former Trump lawyer Evan Corcoran's voice notes about his meetings regarding the documents. What it shows is that if Trump listened to his lawyers he wouldnt be in this mess. Corcoran warned Trump the FBI could come conduct a search if he didnt comply with the subpoena. Corcoran was warned by another Trump lawyer that if he suggest fully complying with the subpoena to Trump he would go ballistic. To no surprise when Corcoran and another lawyer tried to meet with Trump all he wanted to do was rant and rave about every the same **** he never shuts up about. Corcoran specifically recalls a Trump statement "what happens if we just don't respond at all or don't play ball with them?", which is pretty damning evidence on the obstruction charge. Corcoran recalls being only allowed to search the storage room in the basement where he was told that was the only place the documents could be. Jack Smith reportedly has video of Trumps stooges moving boxes out before the search of that room was allowed.
