United Kingdom To European Union: Buh Bye!

Also a leader in Texas secession wants out. I hope they go. When we pull out all our government resources, Texas will get ****ed. Their lone help will be if companies move there because it will basically be a slave state.

Or they can ask Mexico to annex them. Hahahaha

I just want to say, I have no idea what's best for English, Welsh, and Scottish interests. All I know is this is a pretty big deal. And I fear it bodes well for Trump...

Yep. Trump has been praising this and this could earn him some votes in our election in November.

Whatever the case, Obama didn't come out looking great in this. He campaigned for the UK to stay. Instead, they vote otherwise and his buddy David Cameron is going to quit as PM.

Do the Cowboys stay in Arlington?

Yes, and it will open a new era of what would then be "foreign franchises) along with the Houston "JJ Watt and a bunch of nobodies". The Dallas franchise will then play half it's game in Aztec stadium in Mexico City and change their names to the "Mexican Standoffs" . Just my prediction.

Personally I'd like to keep the Cowboys, but if it meant getting rid of Jerry Jones, I have to admit, I"m tempted.

There is even less chance of Texas seceding as there is of Trump's Wall being built. Any politician pretending to support either of these should be tarred, feathered and run out of town. Unfortunately, that's not very likely either.

More like a nice middle finger to free trade.
Oooh, he's got you there.

I just thought it was those 2 that were saying it is a loss to socialism

i have now come to find out that is the talking point across the right wing people in this country.

UK got tired of paying for the EU's expenditures... good for them.

Why wouldn't we be celebrating a country's independence from a union? Would we in the US want to be controlled by a different union?

For purely Scottish (and Northern Irish) interests, this is likely a good thing, insofar as it likely spells formal division.

I'm not sure that it does. Still over a 1 million in Scotland voted to leave and that was with the full court press in Scotland (where I was last month for a few days) to remain. Scotland is basically on the dole (as is N.I.). Still not sure whether they'll swap the English check givers for EU check givers. They may - but I'm not quite sure it's as certain as some of the press seems to be pointing us (the same ones, by the way, that were predicting remain would win.

The Leave crowd seems close in many ways to the wave Trump is riding.

The EU is a joke as it is... this will be the beginning of the end, my guess.

Although it's funny as there are already petitions for a re-vote
