Nothing quite as nice as it's atmosphere, I've never had a bad time there. I prefer Burlington VT for my favorite New England city. But Portland's food scene is much better than Burlington, I just love the weird college vibe of Burlington.
 
Duck Fat is my go to place in Portland I mean I'm never upset with anything I get in the City. I can't remember half the places unfortunately as I often have scheduled trips there around touring breweries.

One of the few places I remember is Flat Bread Company.

Oh and we always swing by Holy Donut. Potato Donuts are amazing.
 
Duck fat and eventide were both tremendous.

Wish I was there a month later because it got cold at night but there was a sweet karaoke bar I went to one night that I can remember. Every place I went to was time well spent.

If you like sweets then bar of chocolate is a must go. .
