You are free to believe what you want. Justice would be the court adjudicating the cases. If he is found innocent so be it, but you only disagree because of who the person is. If this was Hillary Clinton doing the same thing if she was indicted and won the electoral college you would agree using the Presidency to avoid trial is not justice.

Today's wise boomers yesteryear's protestors chanting "Victory to the Viet Cong."

That generation turned out to be broadly correct about Vietnam even while a significant minority indulged in some incendiary excesses and naive (and perhaps not so naive) support for the Viet Cong.

I would draw a parallel. Young people today and Americans generally should be concerned about concentrations of corporate power, including in the healthcare industry. This does not excuse the bad taste and bad judgment shown by many in the wake of Thompson's murder.
