WS tix?

What is face value on tickets. I have my presale window up soon and have someone asking who might go with me depending on price. Stubhub is kind of horrifying.

$360 in section 300... not exactly what section in 300 it was. Sold out before I grabbed mine
 
Wow. That’s getting up there. I’ve bought a lot of playoff tickets but last World Series my dad was paying.
 
I'm waiting for my window to open at 1 as an Insider, since I don't have a pre-sale code for being a season ticket holder. Considering just going for a standing room ticket if that's a way to at least be in the ballpark and avoid crazy prices.
 
I was able to get my ticket for Game 3. Game 4 I'm not sure if it's sold out or they haven't released all of the tickets yet (saving for the release to the general public tomorrow) but nothing is coming up when I search.

Guess I'll go the StubHub route. If you're paying $500 plus for ****ty tickets, what's another $500 on top of it?
 
A little off-topic, but relevant (for me anyway)...

I don't intend to leave the complex between check in on Sunday and check out on Monday. Far from a food connoisseur - typically hot dogs, burgers, and fries on these kinds of adventures. Looks like H & F Burger for late lunch/dinner Sunday afternoon and lunch on my way out Monday (hot dog and fries for one - burger and fries for the other). Anyone strongly recommend one of the other sandwich joints instead? Wahlburgers is a little intriguing, but mainly just because of the name recognition and the fact I've never been to one.

I'm done with Ticketmaster.

I went back in using the other offer code, and was allegedly able to buy up to four. Found multiple sets of three that I was able to add to my cart. Every time, got the dreaded Error Code 0002. Tickets were still showing as being in my cart, but it wouldn't let me check out. Spent something like 20 minutes doing this.

At least when I get hosed by StubHub I won't feel like I'm supporting Al Qaeda with my funds.

Makes the Omni reservation feel a little better now at least - so long as there's a game Sunday.

If you were prepared to pay up to $1,000 for one, having the fallback of the good view from the pool area and my room an elevator ride away doesn't seem like quite as big an overpay as it seemed like at first.
