To be fair, this time it’s just selective enforcement. Other people are doing “creative” financial transactions, but typically the President and Federal Housing Director don’t go on a fishing trip to find them so they can lower interest rates for political gain.

Also valid, though I would still point out that the core argument of the mainstream right is fighting a culture war against a bunch of crazy nobodies on the internet is still pretty much correct. Anybody with a real role to play on the left largely stayed out of the controversy and the right was downright silly about it.

Let’s be real for a minute. The correlation between childhood trauma and homosexuality is clear, and acknowledged everywhere that it won’t be censored. That trauma can range from molestation or other abuse to losing a family member, but it typically is the former.

If we think the number is actually growing, then the increase in childhood trauma means society is trending badly. If we think the increase is due to a social contagion or wanting to be part of a suppressed group (this is my belief) then it means society is trending badly. Either way we should look at what changes seem to have influenced that growth and revert them.
