I like him more than Luke Williams/ verdodo / and Dela snoozeSo, you’re saying he’s better than some of bench pieces we’ve been saddled with lately.
so the baseline starting 5 is
SS, sale, Lopez, Holmes, Elder... one hang nail/stubbed toe/whatever from seeing guys like Jose/Cookie/not ready Ritchie/not ready DF... seems logical.
but is it better for 'pretty dang close' to spend another several months crafting his skill sets in less stressful environment and not for a team that has aspirations of winning.I think Ritchie is pretty dang close….but your point is highly valid
I only listened so not sure how tight the zone was.. but some of his misses were nibbles.. others where changes and curves that he lost control over... I also thought him maintaining velo on his pitches was a great sign.. He just needs to be in trip A to work on senquencing and command.I couldn't care less that Ritchie lost his command for a bit. What matters is whether or not he maintained 96 on the FF and 95 on the SI.
He averaged 94.8 on the FF and 94.9 on the SI (I threw out 2 that were 89 and 90), so it's a good sign he mostly maintained the stuff through 60 pitches.
think the Dodger$ already signed him to 5 year 180 million all deferred.

If they choose Jose over Karin then there is no hope for this front office
