So Dilfer/Brad Johnson > Marino, good logic dumbass.
What? I said the goal is to win super bowls. Calm down little one.

The next contract is always the most. Whose to say that Ryan wouldn't have gotten more next year?
You don't want your franchise player to be playing for a contract and have that in the back of his mind. It worked for Flacco but that doesn't mean it would work for Ryan.
Great game is really overstating it. That last TD drive was when the game was already decided. He had an OK game. Ryan had a great first half against the niners but couldn't keep the momentum going.
You HAD to give Matt Ryan the most expensive contract in NFL history? Seriously?
How could it of been bigger? ARod is the only person who makes more per year....they already way overpaid. Kinda hard to pay him more than what they currently are.
Aaron Rodgers is more, but I digress.
Ryan has a rap sheet already most QBs would dream of. only blemish is he doesn't have a ring. When he gets that ring he'll liekly be well on his way to a HOF worth careers. Not many guys have a .718 win percentage in their first 5 seasons.

If Ryan played any better against the Niners he would have posted arguably the best game of any QB in the NFL that season against arguably the 2nd best defense in the NFL. Be real. Ryan isn't the reason they lost that game. If you score 24 points on a team like the Niners and lose, your defense was a big part of that failure. Of course Ryan coudl have done better, but 400 yards 75% ish comp% and 3 TDs against the Niners defense is epic.
The most money given out in the first 3 years of a contract belongs to one, Matt Ryan.
I would also argue another blemish on his résumé is, his playoff record.
And winning regular season games is what the Falcons are great at. Come January and what happens.
Playoff record has as much to do with his team as anything else.
First playoffs Ryan stank, but he was a Rookie going up against Kurt Warner. Second playoffs Ryan was fine in the first half until the last play, but the Falcons could not stop Aaron Rodgers which forced him into trying to make plays. I think the Packers had like 1 drive that year they didn't score on the Falcons after the first drive fumble. Giants the Falcons couldn't establish a run to save their lives and the Giants were able to get pressure while dropping 6 and 7 out. Not much he could have done there.
And I didn't realize the first 3 years were all that mattered.
A lot of stones comign from someone who's team has choked away winnable playoff games.

5. That's all.
The same team that came back on your team on your home turf in the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME with a QB that started 8 games prior to that. Yeah, that same team.
Don't hit my punt returner, he may fumble the ball.
I was 7 or 8 the last time the Niners won the superbowl. Bragging about Niners rings is like Bragging about the Braves winning world series. It happened, but it happened so long ago who really gives a fawk.
So you don't care about the history of teams you root for?
Sure that was bad...but it could be worse.
I mean, my team could only find a way to muster 2 points in a playoff game.
