That was the same loss that was taken back due to the protest, so they just lost it again. But they picked up a full game on us last night to move a game up while gaining one less loss via the protest before losing it anyway in 9 innings. So they are still up two on us in the loss column, at least pending the outcome of the game currently on-going between them and the Cubs (3-3 thanks to Cubs blowing a 3-1 lead, Giants pitcher tied it up).
That said, we have played two more games than them so if they lose the game still being played we would be tied again (though they'd be pct points ahead and still a game up in the loss column).
PS: Giants lead now 4-3 and have another runner at third, I expect they'll win tonight. The Cubs Wood hasn't won a game in a good while.

I'll say this, the Nats better hope we don't sneak into the playoffs and win the Wild Card game. At least if they continue to lead and take the best record in the NL. If they do we're the last team they'd want to face in the NLDS and the first team we'd like to face (though we'd love to face them any series as we own them).

Because with us leading by 8 it doesn't matter. Fredi knows TLS can hit singles, walk and with those short, stubby arms and legs maybe play average defense. Now he's getting Gosselin some ABs. I honestly can't see why it matters.
I'm sure Frank and Fredi know the Braves aren't going anywhere this year and maybe they want to get a good look at Gosselin or showcase him for future trade value. Gosselin is doing his part. Maybe we'll get a lefty reliever for him.

We had it right using CJ as a platoon player at the start of last year. Then we gave him too much money based on a career year. Now I doubt he is easy to trade if we wanted to do so, though it will be a lot easier than moving BJ Upton. And even BJ Upton could be traded if we do a deal like the one we almost did this past trade deadline. I expect we will try to do just that this off-season. And I'm hoping we also trade CJ this off-season too.

Watching the MLB Network broadcast from DVR. I only get games when they are on national TV, and I have to say that I don't think any of the MLB broadcasts this year have been the Braves feed. Tonight the Reds spent most of the game showcasing a charity telethon for a kids baseball camp, and oh yeah there's a baseball game. Also grating things like hearing Gattis' life story every time I see the Braves. I will cheer out loud if MLB ever gives me the Braves feed on one of their broadcasts.

Even if we tank, we may still be stuck with Fredi next year. Plus if we somehow make it in and win the WC game without Fredi messing it up, I don't see why we cannot beat the Nationals in a series the way we own them.
