Where are they attacking us?
You give the Socratic method a horrible name.
What is your point already?
Where are they attacking us?
I'm legitimately asking - where are they attacking us?
And how are they attacking us there?
And how are they attacking us there?
Radical Islamists are attacking the free world. I applaud that the United States is leading the struggle against this brand of terror. The world is catching on and realizing what a threat this is.
- By kidnapping our citizens and beheading them publicly.
- By directly threatening our Embassy and in-country diplomatic corps (direct assault on Baghdad/Green Zone)
- By taking control of resources (eg. oil) which could have huge negative repercussions on our domestic economy.
Of course, we won't need to get into the notions of ally defense, as that doesn't fit into the direct framework of your 'attack' and 'us' ploy.
Next question, please.
They're able to attack us because we're occupying their land
They're able to attack us because we're occupying their land
How many of us would they have killed if we weren't over there?
Still waiting on those death tolls.
That is there land? What about the majority moderate Muslims that don't want to be radicalized? Why are other Mulsim nations supporting us now?
Are you kidding? So if some other country decided to occupy the US, you don't think some folks in this country would do something about it?

I'm still waiting.
What are you waiting for, specifically?
The end of your pedantic line of questioning ... or rather, your point.
I get that you are a non-interventionist/isolationist, but this isn't Kosovo or Darfur.
I'm still waiting on the death tolls
