GDT: Giants @ Braves 5/4

This is why I struggle with people saying he might have to go to the bullpen soon. I have no interest in bringing him out of the bullpen late in a high leverage situation. He’s completely incapable of handling adversity, even something as small as an umpire not giving him a call.

The only option is trading him while he has value

You're saying Folty has "value"? I've got beach properrty for sale in Colo just for you.

At this time you could have an organization that says they can fix him. Foley still has 'talent' but if we let him suck for another 2 months that goes away

Nah, he should have decently more than Teheran. Teams love guys that can throw 100 as a starter even if they're command and offspeed aren't great. He was a little better than the average #4 last year as well and has potential.

If Foltynewicz is has been as lucky, and is as bad, as you maintain, then teams around the league—more perspicacious than you, without question—are not going to trade anything worthwhile for him. Thus even your own “logic”—itself just a thirsty guise to get Fried into the rotation—undoes itself.

The only option via-à-vis Foltynewicz, at this point, is patience.

I think Folty has a brain the size of a peanut.. he has no clue what he is doing...

million dollar arm... ten cent brain..
I've said that many times. While "trade Teheran" is the popular take on this board, I'd trade Folty to some sucker who will fall in love with his arm and take him.

Thanks for the dig.

Regardless your logic is sound aside from the fact he will cost us games in a year we could make the playoffs.

Smh..not even close. They Both have minimal value of anything. Decently more...? Lol
