I'm with you on not liking how AA has handled this team so far. We were 3 games up a few weeks ago, and AA has just steadily watch us flop with no help. Flaherty still being on this team ought to be close to a fireable offense

It’s been obvious for months the Braves needed bullpen help.

Guys like Biddle, Winkler aren’t even legitimate leverage options imo.

In a good pen those are the guys entering game in 5th/6th inning.

He has the final say but I'm fairly sure managers are allowed to give an opinion. Or else why Sam Freeman hasn't been given a 10 day DL stint is beyond me.

GM's listen to their managers on a lot of things, if a manager doesn't trust a young reliever and wants someone else he usually gets his way.

When I left Mississippi today my first wish was that I’d get to see Sam Freeman pitch.

Seriously, why does a guy go from being an excellent reliever to one that makes you groan when the bullpen door flies open? I know Freeman has been overused but there has to be a lot more to it than that.

The gnats and A's picked up the full salary. But yeah those deals were good for the gnats and A's.

Relievers are very volatile. The ups and downs from Freeman are not unusual.

Overuse like Freeman got can ruin a season, but even when good he walked too many at times. Add what snit did and you get an even wilder Freeman, overuse will do that.

Relievers are very volatile. The ups and downs from Freeman are not unusual.

He's been so inconsistent that when he does throw a strike, it's not called. I just don't remember seeing a guy to go from one extreme to the other as badly as Freeman has.
