The Yankees supplying prospects to the Mets for Thor so the Mets can get Realmuto.

Seems like AA should be working the phones trying to take the Yankees spot in this action.

More likely the Braves pick up Gray from the scrap heap after they acquire Paxton and Thor. Wow.
 
Watch the Yankees get Thor for a package centered around Andujar, and then sign Machado.

They then trade Gray for Allard, magically give him 5 mph on his fastball, and he turns into a beast

Still seems weird to me that Thor's agent is trying so hard to trade him but is also seeking front line starting pitching... I'd be hesitant on the other side

Non-zero chance the Mets could come away with Adujar and Realmuto, which would be quite a coup.

If it went down, i think it would go like:

Mets: JT
Yankees: Thor
Marlins: prospects from both teams

But doesnt sound like it's going down.
 
Would you be happy with.....Dodgers sign Harper and trade Pedersen to the Braves for Teheran. Maybe some other players/money to make the deal work. Then, we trade for Bumgarner for 2 under top 10 prospects.
 
Dodgers are saying that none of their outfielders are untouchable including Bellinger and Verdugo. I think the Dodgers are the place for us to shop for an OF at this point especially with AA knowing them well. As far as the JTR stuff goes I think we are probably one of the 3 teams. I heard the Padres are interested but they are still 2 years from competing so it would be stupid for them to go after him with only 2 years remaining of control.

I'm guessing we are still in on him, but not favorites. I'd bet the Mets, Padres and Braves.
 
If the Mets are including Synderrgard in talks, gonna be hard for AA to top that. I fear the Mets with Thor > Realmuto.

But i agree i think the 3 teams are Padres, Braves and Mets.

Dont think it would be 1/1 and some prospects would be involved but thats an interesting trade package.

Signing a FA catcher plus Thor makes way more sense than trading away Thor but what do i know.
