REAL FOOTBALL Thread

And the 49ers aren't going to blindly throw 100 million dollars at him either. Flacco is garbage and Ryan is meh. I wasn't concerned with the amount they are getting, just the fact that these two are getting paid that high. You ****ing cock sucker.

You think Kap will sign for less than below market?

It will cost 15-20 AAV to sign Kap for 5-6 years.

Or you think its gonna cost less than that?

Aww.

Jermichael Finley put on IR today as well. Great season so far.

Was supposed to be like Regularfist :pound: :flirty: but I guess it didn't make sense lol.

Hey don't worry the Niners lost their guys for the first half of the year and they're doing great. So your guys can too..

//takes bait

With worst OL, all hurt wr corp, no running game, and a Te that runs only hitch routes...

It's like Kaep but way worse.

I still think Ryan is a good QB. It just goes to show that all this talk of Ryan being elite that Zito was saying is false. He has been blessed with the best assortment of weapons in football.

Well its certainly debateable. He belongs squarely in the 6-7 best QB range. Not many I would take over him thats for sure.

Unlike Kaep, he has ZERO running game, and his OL is one of the worst in the league. Not much he can do about that, but he is the ONLY thing going right now.

Asking Tony G to beat double teams is a recipe for a slow moving offense.

Brady looked awful this year with his new Wrs but he had more of a running game and OL. Gets Gronk and Amendola back and VOILA, big game. Coincidence? I don't think so.

I think Kaep benefitted from having a stud ground game and OL.

Of course Kaep benefits from that. There is no disputing this. Just like Ryan benefited from having Turner his first couple of years in the league. Its hard to ask a QB to be Luck and just carry the offense all by yourself when you first start. However, I still believe long term that Kaep has more upside than Ryan. People wanted to jump all over me on Kaeps performance this year even though Davis was hurt for a 3-4 week span and it was recently reported that Kaep might have been dealing with an injury that didn't allow him to plant without discomfort. Now, if Kaep doesn't improve his passing efficiency with Manningham back and eventually Crabtree then I'll be worried.

To me Ryan is your typical decent ceiling high floor player. He is limited physically but can understand the game so well he will succeed. Personally though, I'll take the guy that has the higher upside.

Well, you don't really have a choice in the matter of course. Your team has this guy who can light it up with his legs, so naturally you would. It is almost impossible to be honest with yourself in that situation. Higher upside? Going for 4850 yards and 33 Tds is pretty good "upside" too...

It will be more difficult to decide once Kaep gets injured and those wheels start to slow. It is just entirely too early to tell.

Haha ok I like that one a lot better. I thought Regularfist might have been me getting two black eyes for putting mayo on your sandwich.

Yeah but you guys are getting your injured players back at the right time. I guess Clay might be back next week but Cobb is still out, and we don't even have anyone who can get our receivers the ball. If Aaron is back in 3 weeks, which seems like best case scenario, then I think we might be ok. When our guys are healthy, I really like my team up going up against anyone.....except yours ;) But if he's out longer than that, I think there's a real chance we miss the playoffs.

NOthing the 49ers endured compares to losing the best QB in the NFL. It really sucks for you guys because the Packers would be dangerous in the playoffs considering how strong the running game looks now.

That's fine, but opinions can be wrong. And that opinion is wrong.
Incorrect; an opinion is an opinion, regardless of right or wrong; it is subjective. An opinion is what you, the individual, believes is true. 'Facts', however, can be right or wrong, depending on how they are expressed... True or erroneous. A belief is not wrong, neither is an opinion, just the facts backing them. Notice, I supplied no facts backing my opinion, solely stated it.

What I have supplied here (in that prior post) is my opinion; nothing more, nothing less. You may disagree with it, you may even have facts and stats to back up your opinion; however, that does not change that it was my opinion and as such it can't be wrong (or trolling for that matter), no matter how much you or someone else disagrees with it.

Skins need to figure out some way to protect RG3. He is starting to look good throwing the football.
