Taking a look at the potential postseason roster

Julio's been a lot better vs the Cards than Folty has, FWIW.

If we got past STL, he shouldnt see the rotation vs LA though.

I don't see why some think this is relevant. Folty pitching now has different than Folty pitching 3 months ago.

There is just no way that Julio should make a postseason start.

I'd go Folty too, our best 4 starters are Folty, DK, Fried and Soroka. Folty did throw pretty well at STL early in the year though. I agree i'd go with Folty, he seems to have figured **** out lately.

I’m going to put this out there in hopes folks will stop saying stupid things:

The Braves won’t be making any sessions based on how a pitcher fared against a particular team in an ultra small sample like 1-2 games months ago.

Not saying Folty would start vs them based on that, but he has seemed to figure **** out as of late in general minus the start in Toronto he's been good since getting recalled.

On the question of postseason roster:

both Camargo and Inciarte are recovering from leg/lower body injuries. In the three weeks between now and then, might either heal sufficiently to at least be a bat off the bench. Camargo, in particular, might be able to pinch hit with a padded leg device since it's on the shin.

the latest I've seen on Inciarte is he should be back for the Royals and Mets series...good chance he will be on the post season roster

I think I’d rather have Fried or Teheran pinch hit rather than Camargo

I don’t know how you could put either on the postseason roster if they’re not healthy enough to play the field.

I really hope none of our starters go down in the next two weeks are we are in big time trouble. At this point Hech is the back up MI, Riley/Duvall/Ortega backup COF, with Riley backing up 3B. I have no idea who plays 1B if Freeman goes down. Cervelli?

Riley is the backup corner infielder

Riley is probably the backup 1B, but with injuries to Yelich, Rizzo, and Trout among others lately, its pretty concerning with only 2 weeks left.
