2024 Field

Amash left the R's... I think the Tulsi left the Ds?

Coalitions like these need to start forming to start getting us out of this mess the two party system has created. Most Americans hate it yet nobody steps outside of it

I've never liked all of the "NPC" comments you see dropped on the online lefties, but it's hard to think of a better term when you read the replies to his twitter post.

That would be great if multiple parties formed.

Don't need them to join MAGA but it would be great if some adults in the room stood up and said enough of this nonsense from the Progressive trash poison that has infected the 'Democrat' party.

A Tulsi/Amash ticket one way or the other would be interesting

Unless something completely out of left field happens we all know who is winning the 2024 GOP primary and now with the unfortunate news for Desantis wife I feel the liklihood of him running has decreased.

Yes we know Trump is your lord and savior

Just reading the obvious tea leaves.

Feel free to bet against it.

I just wouldn't put any real money on that bet.

As you know I 100% agree with you that the nomination is his for the taking. No one else stands a chance if he runs.

D's better put up a good candidate because millions of votes are going to magically disappear the next time around.

Do you mean as a third party ticket, or the Pub ticket?

There’s more people that vote Democrat than Republican in this country. I believe that the majority of the people who vote independent actually lean more center right (as do the respective candidates) in thier policy beliefs but the right isn’t getting those votes and they lose because of it.

Take this board as an example. There’s people in here that would vote for An amash/tulsi ticket before they voted for Trump, even though we both know they agree more with trump than whomever the democrats will select.

Id suspect aces/tapate(maybe)/Sturg would vote for an independent ticket.

None of the loser lefties on this board would touch a ticket that didn’t have a D next to it.

I think part of this is what I call the McCain Syndrome. I knew lots of Democrats who always asked "why can't you guys nominate someone like John McCain, he's a Republican I could vote for?!?" Until of course, they had the opportunity to vote for Senator McCain against the least qualified major party nominee in Senator McCain's lifetime, when they decided it was "time" and they needed "change." And of course, McCain became the worst, even worse than W.

It's as predictable as the sunrise. I've stopped falling for it.

Exactly. If it was just us in here deciding the election the D’s would win every time because the other sides vote would be split. Even though we outnumber them, our votes are fractured and there’s aren’t.

That’s why I hate independent voters. They aren’t independent, they just can’t gather enough balls to admit they’re Republican. So after the election they’ll bitch about how crappy Biden is doing and then they’ll make some small snide remarks about trump. It’s 100% on them that Biden won.

This is called 'controlled opposition'.

Joy Reid has said, "Why can't they talk about lowering taxes again?"

They know this is different and they know they are going to lose.

I’ve voted 3rd party the past 4 elections and I’m proud of it. No way in hell I’d ever vote for a sick disgusting Republican candidate because he/she has an R by their name. You wanna call it throwing my vote away I couldn’t care less because I’m not… I’m voting for someone I actually respect.

I don’t think voting third party is voting your vote away.

I’m just trying to stress that having a third party run is going to hurt the gop.
