He will probably be more revered in braves country than Smith having that perfect postseason. That one inning of Matzek saving Jackson exorcized so many demons for our fanbase.

I would agree. Smith was consistently awesome but that inning for Matzek was one of the big moments of the playoffs. He should be a Braves employee for life for that.

Indeed. Braves had their worst week of baseball in over two months. Time to put that crap behind us and start playing like champions again.

He hit over 96 twice and both were out of the zone. Pham swung at one. Still, that velocity was his low end the last couple of years.
