2022 Elections

And he was right. Trump lost by 3 million votes to a terrible candidate in 2016. Lost by almost 3 times that tona brain dead Joe Biden. Then barely picked up any seats in the mid terms and now theres a good chance he will torpedo their chances in 2024. He will be a big time loser if he loses in 2024. Could be his third straight time of not even reaching 47% of the vote. History is going to remember him very badly.

Indeed. The mail in voters are so critical for the uninformed stupid voters. The left has lots of these

At least they didn't have anything weird happen... Like their monitoring cameras go black for 8 hours the night that Laxalt lost his lead.

Oh wait...

Establishment plan working as designed.

Same people who said 18 was marred with lies (Russian collusion / Kavanaugh), 20 was obviously stolen, and 22 is a function of disgusting ballot harvesting are now saying it’s all trumps fault. But hey, maybe the the establishment gets together and agrees not to ballot harvest if desantis is the candidate. Would be just as dirty as Mitch not supporting candidates because they aren’t loyal to the establishment.

I hate that the media and establishment are so good at shaping narratives. Things looked grim many times over this journey. I’ll never jump off because it’s convenient.

You just have a problem with coinciding your views with the actual reality in the country.

"Earthquake? More like a red tinkle. R's are virtually assured of losing two Senate seats. The people don't want the horsecrap Repukes are selling. 2022 will be a repeat of '20. You'll be left wondering what just happened."--VirginiaBrave 9/24/2022 in the Dems are stupid as **** thread.

A lot of talk about politics in here, but not many of you have an actual feel for how it plays out.

Dont expect them to own what they said. They will just attempt to rewrite history and no sell anything you bring up from the past.

Rheta Johnson: America the Beautiful

A Wellesley College English professor, Katharine Lee Bates, made a journey by train to Colorado Springs in 1893 and was so inspired by the sights that she wrote a poem.

She saw the wheat fields of Kansas and the World’s Colombian Exposition in Chicago. When she took the narrow-gauge train to the top of Pike’s Peak, the temptation to rhapsodize must have been overwhelming. Back at the hotel, she took pen in hand.

In 1895, her “America” was published in a church periodical’s July Fourth edition.

The poem was a hit, and later, music was added by church organist and choirmaster Samuel A. Ward. “America the Beautiful” became arguably this nation’s favorite patriotic song.

Ray Charles, for my money, did it the ultimate justice with his 1976 Bicentennial version.

I can understand why the view from Pike’s Peak would spur you to poetry, if that is your bent. Twice I have taken the same train ride up that Ms. Bates did so long ago.

At the tiptop, the air is thin and cold, but the vantage is such that you don’t mind your own temporary discomfort. You stagger around to get your bearings and appreciate the physical beauty below.

This country looks mighty good from a distance.

In a political season like the one in which we find ourselves, however, close inspection hurts. The poet’s lines begin to sound more like warnings than praise:

“Confirm thy soul in self-control. Thy liberty in law.”

A buffoon that Hollywood would find too absurd to chronicle has emerged as a “leader” of a major political party. His proclamations range from silly to racist, from daft to dangerous. His rallies have provoked protest and violence. He waggles and weaves and reinvents his rhetoric to suit his mood. He draws great crowds and much applause.

A gun lobby only strengthens with each massacre of innocent citizens. Citizens react, but Congress does nothing.

“May God thy gold refine. Till all success be nobleness, and ev’ry gain divine.”

Corporate money rules. The political process is such that whoever is elected is compromised from Day One. With football game dynamics, the campaigns are defined by war chests and personal net worth.

“And crown thy good with brotherhood.”

States pass legislation targeting their own citizens for no apparent reason except to pander to hate-mongers who operate in the name of religion. Having not learned the hard lessons of civil rights for all, America once again tolerates the same bigotry that fueled Jim Crow.

“Thine alabaster cities gleam, undimmed by human tears.”

Our “alabaster cities” are dangerous and flooded with tears. From sea to shining sea, there are infrastructure needs not addressed, children with inferior schools, old people with inadequate health care and other real problems always obscured by political red herrings.

The pure poetry of America’s natural beauty is mocked by greed, hate, violence, nationalism and the demagoguery that passes for leadership.

If the system didn’t change overnight in 2020 we would have had two straight years of a red wave. The only way Dems have any power are their monopoly on media and idiotic voters. Winning gov of Nevada and Arizona will be huge though. I have a feeling the outcome of statewide races will be different the next six years and mirror Florida and Georgia.

The big issue is that the R establishment is allowing this to happen because they want America first to die.

Maricopa doesn’t even know where the ballots they are counting are form in some occasions. It’s so odd people are comfortable with this process.

This FTX scandal is getting interesting. Funding the democrat campaigns right before going belly up is something.

Still amusing how the left outright lied to young voters about debt relief. Will the media be honest about this or just blame a trump judge for actually defending democracy? Tough one….

And even with all the nonsense voting we still would have won majorities if not for Mitch and the establishment

A sane person would look at the data and come the the conclusion that when such a large shift in the electorate like this happens in such a short time that it should result in massive gains for the beneficiary party. Odd that it hasn’t yet…. We’ll jot odd. Suspicious.

Nothing to spin here. We lost because of horrible trump backed candidates In key races.
