Don't forget Brett Sears. I think he figures into the BP rotation between AAA and the MLB as well.

I forgot about Sears. We have a lot of young depth coming and it's quality depth. I wouldn't be opposed to having Diddier coming out of the bullpen at some point when he's ready to help out.

No one "wants" him per se. The basic idea is that he is used to off-set some difference in payroll coming our way. For instance, if we traded for Sonny Gray. The Card are gonna have to eat money to move him. Rather than send physical money over, they could take on Lopez and maybe they could talk themselves into thinking he's worth the gamble in case he comes regains his form. They would likely have had to eat the 14 million regardless to move him.

This is it. We could send a couple of good prospects back to get Winn and Donovan also.

One name that just opted out that is really intriguing is Jorge Polonco with the Mariners.
 
Polanco will get around 10 million in FA predictions
Cease around 25-27
Winn isn't arb eligible till 26 so he's making peanuts

That adds 35 million and we would just need 2 really good BP arms and a legit backup OF. Let Polanco DH and backup the infield.
