London is finally being used as a slow possession receiver with incredible catching ability should be used. High volume, short pass chain mover and red zone target. The Falcons have smartly abandoned the idea that he's a deep threat. London's second in the NFL in receptions but his 11.3 yards...

I feel like people don't remember how good Keaton he is. You'll see him in something, he'll be amazing, but for some reason you won't remember just how great he was. You are right about range though. He can do pretty much anything.

The fact that we're outside the 18 month exclusivity period makes things interesting. Under US Bankruptcy law, when a corporation files Chapter 11 you can have an"debtor in possession" situation. Basically the existing leadership gets to stay in charge of the company and try to work out a plan...

Saw Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice this past weekend. It's a fun watch. It's not great cinema but it captures the playfulness of the first one. Michael Keaton is probably underappreciated as an actor.

The US has very debtor friendly bankruptcy law. Some of the most debtor friendly in the world. The ability to repudiate unfavorable contracts and reaffirm favorable ones is a big part of that. It's used by large corporations and poor individuals alike.

I'd have gone with Olave if we had to pick a WR. Dude can fly. I was out on London the second he decided not to run the 40. He claimed it was his ankle but if the ankle was healthy enough to run all over the field and catch at his pro day, it was healthy enough to run in a straight line. He...

Terry Fontenot really needs to be fired. Pitts and Bijan would have to be generational players to be worth their pick. Pitts is mediocre and Bijan is good but doesn't look elite. Then there's London who has pretty much shown he's not a WR1. He's basically a tall slot receiver. Three top 10...

No hope as long as he's with Atlanta. Arthur Smith was a terrible first coach for him and Morris and Co are nowhere near skilled enough to unlock his talent. He'll probably leave Atlanta, sign somewhere else, and become another Gronk, but that's not happening in Atlanta.

GDT 9/30/24: Braves vs Mets - DH Game 2

No other team in baseball could suffer the injuries we did and still make the playoffs. I don't think the Phils are over .500 if they lose Harper and Wheeler like we lost Acuna and Strider.

I'll add that Morris is not up to being an NFL head coach. Not sure what people thought changed since he failed with the Bucs. The league has just gotten harder. The offensive scheming and play calling has been horrendous. You can only blame Zac Robinson so much. The head coach should never let...

That no call on the PI on Pitts in the end zone was heinous. It's calls like that which lead to people wondering if the NFL has the refs protect teams. That's a call that should be made 100 times out of 100. The defender doesn't even turn his head.

Young reminds me of Fields in that they both went into ridiculously bad situations where they never had a chance. Who knows if they'd have been something elsewhere, but there was no way they were going to be good where they were.

The Eagles should feel bad. For all the headlines, the Falcons offense is an aging QB who looked mediocre and the two early first round receiving options that are just guys. Bijan looks legit but letting this team march down the field is embarrassing.

Carolina benching Young. No matter how much the Falcons screw up, they're at least a better organization than Carolina.

I could see Denver going either way. Probably a toss up. A lot depends on how Nix progresses. There's no such thing as a sure win in the NFL. We managed to lose to Carolina last year. I think we'll win those games but if the offense plays like last week, who knows?

That still doesn't explain why Cousins was basically motionless. Or why they refused to have him under center. Or why the offense was super predictable based on pistol vs shotgun. Or why the coaches refused to do anything about Watt abusing the RT. If Cousins ankle is limiting him, things...

The Falcons could legit start the year 0-5. The Eagles are going to make them bite a curb tomorrow. They have no prayer against KC. No, they had 0 draft picks from 2024 play in week one. The DT they traded up for in the second round was inactive. Morris is a great guy to have on a staff but he's overmatched as a head coach. The Falcons were an absolute mess. The problem with Morris and the GM situation is that the GM...
