Am I the only one who finds this ... weird? Endeavor represents baseball players. So they're going to both represent AND employ? I mean, no conflict there. And weren't they just sued for poaching another company's baseball agents, supposedly to get Carlos Correa on their roster? Corporate...

This actually makes me wonder about the whole "team chemistry" thing. Some of my analytically-inclined friends seem to think that it's utter bull****, especially since it's impossible to measure or quantify. Personally, I have a hard time believing that professional sports is the only place...

This is my understanding, at least in the short term. I wouldn't surprise me if that changes over the next several months, but I doubt it's near-term. That is, however, a guess.

DirecTV is being spun off from AT&T, with AT&T retaining 70% ownership. The newco is taking the various TV streaming services with it (Uverse, AT&T TV) and branding them all under the DirecTV name. No other changes.
