If you would have told me at the beginning of the year one of these teams would be 6-1 and the other 1-6 I wouldn't have thought the Braves would be the team with the winning record. Great start to the season.

I don't think that's the way to win a championship. I mean I believe you build the core of your team that way but you have to be willing to bring in a difference maker to get you over the top.

Can't let failures prevent you from going after good players. Keep trying until you get it right. We just have to be smarter with how we spend our money but don't avoid free agency all together.

Yes they were competitive, doesn't mean I have to agree with the way the roster was constructed. They could have won a few more games and found a way to get into the playoffs though. They weren't far away. That's why it was an option for Hart to try and add to it if he wanted and try and win one...

I think it is, you aren't that far away from w/card contention at that point. Dirk's point is valid though. By bringing in more talent you can flip them, you should never shy away from bringing in good players. They give you options.
