Indeed.
Do we "win" the tiebreaker vs the Rockies? We lost the season series, if that's the criteria.
Memorable moment is a dismal year, getting swept by that crappy team and then extending our stellar staff.
The tiebreaker is last years record. We need to lose as the Rockies are losing again.
True, Rockies already down 2-0 so unless we lose this last game, this winning last couple weeks will have worsened our draft position from possible #1 to #4.

Which is a complete joke to me and a great example of the apathy that runs throughout our organization from the ownership down through the front office to the manager. There is no sense of urgency. The only thing we should be concerned about is doing what will help improve the team for the future, which means losing on purpose. Not surprisingly, the "good ol boys" take an "aw shucks" approach to it and here we are pissing away draft pick position
You never want to lose on purpose. And 1 spot is likely not going to mean that much. Consider the Braves were in the middle of the pack in the middle of the season and look how far up the draft board we went. Regardless of what we've done the last couple of weeks we've positioned ourselves to get a good player next year.
We can agree to disagree on that. Just 2 weeks ago we were in the #1 spot. Winning these games has done nothing to help us in any way. Why don't you want to ever lose on purpose? 1 spot can mean a whole lot in drafts, especially if a talent emerges that is clearly elite above the rest.
The reason we are winning is our young pitching is making good strides. That is far more important than the difference between picking 3rd and picking 1st or second.
They can make strides without us winning games

I've said it before, and I will say it again. Whether this team picks 1st or 10th, I have the utmost confidence in the Braves scouting staff that they will get a high quality player. In a draft that reportedly has 6-7 elite prospects per Kiley McDaniel, picking 3rd is a good spot for the Braves. The Braves, with their scouting staff, are far more likely to get it right picking third than the other teams picking around them.
We are the 4th pick now.
3rd.
