There is 2 years age difference in McCann and Lucroy. McCann is expensive for 2 years but wouldn't cost nearly as much in prospects as what Lucroy will, and will not cost nearly as much long term as Lucroy.

Atlanta should make a deal for McCann. It would give them a solid duo over the next two years along with Tyler Flowers. It would allow them to bridge the gap and give Brett Cumberland a couple of years to prove that he can handle the position defensively in the minors. It would not cost them the draft pick it would take to sign Wilsom Ramos or Matt Weiters.

Solid return. Tho with the return these relievers are getting, im shocked its only Rivero and Hearns, a lefty reliever prospect.

Rivero could be really good if he could find a pitch to get lefties out.

Kemp owed $75ish million from this point forward. It would present an avenue to move Olivera's full contract, and still get considerable cash from SD. Kemp is bad though, and almost 32 year olds with degenerative hips don't usually get un-bad.

If the Pads are chipping in a fair bit of cash, and we aren't giving up anything major I'm not sure why you'd have problems with it. I haven't been a big fan of the idea of Kemp, but he's worth a shot if we aren't giving up much.
