You’re in the minority.

I may retire in Southeast Tennessee where I went to college. Chattanooga is a great little city. My first choice for retirement is Blue Ridge, GA. As for the north, Boston is the only city in the NE I would consider living. I have lived in Silver City, GA for 23 years. Now, you know. :)

i can't say i've ever been there, but yes the perception is terrible, as are mostly all of the metrics.
I don't think i'd want to live in Alaska..

Alaska is probably tailor made for a person like me. I love cold weather, mountains, and the wilderness. I also don't want to live somewhere crowded. Anchorage was great. You can drive 20 minutes one way and be in the middle of town with tons to do or you could drive 20 minutes the other way and be completely in the bush. Also, great skiing areas around there, especially in Girdwood.

Yep. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are beautiful there is no debating that when dumbasses aren’t setting forest fires but there is still always plenty to do. I haven’t been to Nashville but my buddy told me some bad things about it, I guess it just depends on where you are.

LA is a ****hole.

i don't love it (except, of course, the wealthy parts are real nice), but over atlanta? that's easy. atlanta is like, a shell of a real city. every area i've been in, nothing has been really cool, nothing has stood out. it's just not quite there for me.

of course, i mean, that's 100% subjective. i like cold weather as well. but i like being able to take the boat out all spring, summer, and some of fall.
i like all those things, but i don't mind crowds at all.

BTW, how about Pache today? What if he rips it up this Spring? At what point do you give him a shot at right field?

He'll replace Ender, not Nick, cant have two light hitting outfielders.

I'm higher on Waters than Pache, i think Waters is gonna be really ****ing good.

lol so zero concrete reasons.
atlanta is literally the least impressive city i've ever been to. i was thoroughly disappointed. it offers basically nothing philadelphia offers.
and i won't even address north dakota.

If I had zero concrete reasons, I don't know what you call your reasons

you listed zero objective reasons why it's bad. and then tried to pimp atlanta and...north dakota. hubs of nothing.

North Dakota wasn't involved in my argument... you asked where I lived and proceeded to talk about north Chicago and midtown Atlanta as the two cities I've lived in... I also specifically said I used those two because I can't compare Bismarck to a big city... so you can't read, but you can judge my arguments? Slow claps for you!

it's extremely common for people from the south to talk **** on great northern cities like Philadelphia. just please stay in atlanta, or go to ND where people don't really want to live (for good reason).

These attitudes are why I can't stand people in your city... you are weirdly emotional about this
