Please explain the 25 in the box score. https://www.mlb.com/gameday/astros-...nal,lock_state=final,game_tab=box,game=567145
25 would seem to be a record for a nine-inning game.

No, but they did sing back-up vocals on Led Zeppelin's Kashmir.
So the Braves run a tight ship, yet they leak to Fat Ben? Who listens to this guy anymore? He is the guy who claimed Randy Ventura was a better prospect than Drew Waters for crying out loud...
Having said that, is anyone still holding out hope for a Haniger acquisition? I am just because there's little else to hope for at the moment.
Comparing a potential Haniger package to the Eaton package (Giolito, Lopez, Dunning...all RHP), a package would have to be something like:
Pache or Riley
plus
Wright or Anderson
plus
Wentz or Wilson
A steep price to be sure.
Are the Braves willing to give up that much talent? Are the injuries to Gohara, Soroka, Folty and Gaus making them hesitant to trade any MLB-ready pitching?
It was TheThe...Your "highly informed and knowledgeable Braves guy" sounds like the typical message board homer.
Anyone know what's going on with CJ Alexander? He received an invitation to big league camp but it doesn't look like he's appeared in a game.
DOB says Teheran was 92-3 yesterday.
Been working out with Clemson football this offseason
Whatever it takes.
If he pisses hot, we don't have to pay him for half the year, right?
Are you suggesting we give him some 'supplements' that he can later deny taking?

I'd easily do Riley/Anderson/Wentz for Haniger
If that package happened to net Haniger, signing Keuchel to a 3-4 year deal then makes a lot of sense. Donaldson's going to have to have a monster year to get someone to give him 3 years/$60 million next winter. You'd have Julio, Vizcaino, and O'Day off the books, so Keuchel wouldn't drastically affect the payroll and you could cover most of Haniger's arby payday with what's left from those three. Pache replaces Duvall next winter, and you can begin entertaining offers for Ender.
I still have a really tough time believing they'll make him available unless someone's willing to drastically overpay - while that's a steep price, the fact that many wouldn't hesitate to make a deal like that has to give you the feeling that that's not enough.
