I posted in the other thread, but Biden approval rating is back below 40%. Don't let these national polls fool you. He won't win re-election with an approval rating this low.
Low approval rating doesn’t mean that they prefer or will vote for Trump over Biden. They won’t.
Except the person he’s running against left office with a 34% approval rating.

covid did happen and so did January 6...as did the rape of E Jean Carroll
to pretend otherwise is wishful thinking
The final poll was taken after Jan 6. His approval rating was right around 45% entering November 2020. Then obviously we know what happened after the election that tanked his popularity. Jan 6 proceedings haven't gone the way the Dems had hoped. And obviously Trump has been polling much better than Biden for most of the last few months. Seems pretty likely that most Americans don't feel the same way about Jan 6 as they did immediately after it happened.
Also, in Feb 2020, before COVID, he was at 49%. And that was immediately after he was impeached in the house.
For comparison, Biden has averaged 43%.He averaged 41% for his entire presidency. Covid actually gave him a boost.

It would be malpractice on the part of the Dems not to remind the voters in coming months...over and over and over and over
Quite a shift in tone from Nate

RCP average went from .6 to 1.1 over the last few weeks in favor of Trump. Overall, it's holding steady.
Btw, it's still too early to determine much of anything.

He was at 49% literally the same month before COVID shutdowns. It dropped to 39% by the end of May. I would love to know how COVID boosted his approval rating.
