2025 Trade Deadline Thread

Nah he's already on the 40 man. Definitely seems like a trade is brewing.
Not according to MLBTR (unless they’re just describing his addition to the 26-man roster—blurb doesn’t specify):

The Braves announced this morning that they’ve selected the contract of right-hander Carlos Carrasco. The move comes just days after Carrasco was acquired from the Yankees. Additionally, recently-acquired Tyler Kinley has reported to the club and is now active. A corresponding roster move wasn’t necessary to accommodate Carrasco after Atlanta traded right-hander Rafael Montero to the Tigers last night.

Maybe I'm forgetting someone, but it seems we're at the point in the RP market where Iglesias is the best rental still "clearly available". The complicator is the "might-be available" group: Bednar, Fairbanks, Suarez, Doval, Jax, etc. Teams that may still be in the high-leverage RP market: NYY, BOS, TEX, CHC, LAD, CIN.

AA not standing around doing nothing. It’s simple no one wants the garbage that occupied the bullpen this year. No one wants a closer that literally blows every save. Or a setup guy that only sets up losses. No one wants Ozuna who suddenly forgot how to hit. He has no leverage to trade anything on this roster and if he did he likely only get back a bucket of baseballs.

Well he's the architect of said garbage. Get the bucket of balls and be done with it.

Gotta ship off assetts to bring on the TANK
