6/10 Game 1 vs Mets...Sean Newcomb Day

I think having a MLB catcher calling his pitches will (and is) making a difference in him. He could go eight innings right now with that low of a pitch count. He rarely gets out of the 5th on 100 pitches normally if I remember right.

You just might be right. Newcomb has been very efficient today. Only 65 pitches (w/50 strikes) in 5 innings - that's pretty darn good
 
How much is he throwing the change... if at all? I'm not getting video now

Two pitches will only take him so far. We will see if they let him go through the lineup three times if it's two pitches

I don't think I've seen any change ups...he does throw two different curves...one that is more of the lollipop get over for a strike and the other that's harder and usually ends up in the dirt.
