Yea, and he was just supposed to be a "stop gap"... Embarrassing a bit. I didn't expect our rotation to be our strong point but didn't think it would be THIS bad. Got some work to do in the offseason. Folty, at the very most, he can maybe compete for a 5th spot next season or be a long relief man. He's got electric stuff but he's just too damn inconsistent.
 
Hard to believe this is the same team that was turning heads sizzling, gettin to .500 (and got there). Some people were even thinking playoffs....

This just shows we got work to do. Big assignment. STARTING ROTATION. Just awful.
 
Can this organization please, for the love of all things Holy, realize that they need to make wholesale changes in philosophy, scouting, and development? The 90s way needs to be left as the 90s way, and not the today way.

It IS built around pitching and the guys we have drafted are looking great. The problem is, we aren't the best at "trading" for pitchers.

Actually, looking at how the Rockies are hitting....Newk did pretty well last night and Julio was down right impressive.
 
That sucked so bad. I really hope all this bad luck for Swanson this year turns into good luck next season
 
I'm just expecting the FO to do something extremely stupid in response to Folty's last few outings...I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Acuna was called up or trade numerous pitching prospects plus for a pitcher this offseason
