Alberto Callaspo Possibly Being Traded

Suddenly Callaspo took one of the hot dogs out of its bun and deep-throated it. Then he took the bun and put it around Aybar’s flaccid penis and poured ketchup on it. Jaws dropped–Aybar was a willing participant. Then Callaspo bent over and pretended to eat the Dominican penis hot dog. When he did that, we all screamed "Noooo!"

That is actually weird now. Never mind, no longer funny.

That's actually disturbing.

Unfortunately the story is grounded in fact. Matt McCarthy detailed (painfully) the whole event in his book "Odd Man Out" - I never would see either Aybar or Callaspo the same way again.

Arizona has a state income-tax.

Good point. Let me clarify by expanding. Arizona doesn't require athletes to pay state income tax until the regular season. This was done in order to prevent teams from leaving Arizona in favor of Florida. See below:

"Arizona defines a duty day as “all days during a taxable year from the beginning of a professional athletic team’s first regular game of the season through the last game in which the team competes.” "

Sources: Callaspo trade between #Braves and #Dodgers back on. Braves pulled Callaspo from lineup. Six-player deal. Uribe would go to LA.

Correction: Uribe would go to ATL.

Deal between #Braves and #Dodgers is done pending approval of commissioner’s office. Callaspo waived right to reject any trade before 6/15.

Sort of an anti-climatic tweet from the team, but,

Callaspo has been scratched due to trade talks being revisited.
