Braves trade Wisler, Sims, Tucker to Reds for Adam Duvall

Think I'd rather have Wisler for simple depth than Duvall.

Not gonna hurt... but don't really see how it helps either, other the clearing 40 man space

I hope to god we aren’t thinking about going into next season with him as a starting OF with letting Neck walk.
Probably just keep in mind Acuña and Albies should improve. Plus you have extra money to sign Kimbrel or other solid pieces for the bullpen.

Probably the blue jays say they same when they got Bautista and the Dodgers with Chris Taylor.

I just think it's pointless.

At the very least it opens up 40 man spots.

3.5 years of controll.

Could he be our Matt Adams we can afford to keep? Not the hitter of adams but not the total disaster in the field.

If he is starting in the of we are not happy right...

Conspiracy guy would say this sets up the ender trade but I don’t see who wants ender now

My thought is that it's possible we may see Acuna in center against lefties. He has the athleticism, and I think he played there some in the minors. Ender is killing us against left handed pitching, and it could give us an extra right handed bat plus a good bench bat. Duvall isn't great, but we didn't give anything up we were likely to use.
