Democratic National Convention

Is Arizona polling that close? I haven't dug into the polls much recently.

Yes, but no new polls I've seen from Arizona in over a month. So who really knows. according to composite polls the battleground states are

Arizona (11)
Florida (29)
Georgia (16)
Iowa (6)
Michigan (16)
Nevada (6)
New Hampshire (4)
North Carolina (15)
Ohio (18)
Oregon (7)
Pennsylvania (20)
Virginia (13)
Wisconsin (10)
Maine CD2 (1)

I'm a little shocked they're willing to put Georgia there. I know Georgia has become bluer over time, what's scarier though for the dems than the gains in Arizona and Georgia, with the former likely explained by the switch in the hispanic vote and the latter likely explained by the migration of liberals to the area for jobs (similar to VA)

The concern right now for the dems is looking at the polls. Places like Colorado, Oregon, etc. are weakening.

Georgia is the closest deep south state to being purple-blue.

Atlanta Savannah and Augusta alone could make it blue problem is turnout.

I really like Joe. I think he would have won in a landslide if he wanted to. Maybe the most popular Vice President ever.

I would have paid so much money to watch Biden and Trump debate.

Biden squashes bullies so well. The way he schooled Ryan after Obama blundered the first debate, was legendary.

I said at the beginning of this that I would have rather had Biden than Hillary. I would probably have voted Biden over Bernie if it came to it.

Always had a lot of respect for Biden though I don't agree with him on a handful of things. He is genuine. I considered supporting him in 2008. He probably would have killed Trump but the plagiarism thing might have gotten hairy.

I wish Bloomberg had manned up and run.

Like, Trump is categorically the worst, but he's not wrong here; the fact that liberal, establishment Democrats are mocking him for this statement is exactly what I've been railing against, and a terrible tactical trajectory for Clinton's campaign.

Joe did a great job. One of the issues Hillary may have is that she's got to follow all these good speakers. Michelle, Booker, Biden, Obama and then the grand finale..meh. It's like ending a fireworks show with a hand held sparkler.

Yesssss Obama. I just moved to GA and I cant wait to vote. Hope to see this state turn BLUE!!!!
