Also, I know it drives everyone crazy, but I love it when things are quiet where we're concerned - Wren ALWAYS does his best work when swimming below the surface.

You know, I feel like the whole "Frank Wren: Transactions Ninja" meme doesn't really reflect what I remember about the recent past. The Schuerholz years, sure (though we all remember Hot Nudism). But we were rumored to be in on BJ Upton from the moment the off-season started, and the Justin Upton rumors dragged on openly for months. Going back a few years, the Derek Lowe signing was no sort of surprise, and it came after very public pursuits of Burnett and Furcal.

Bowman is good at what he does, and is the best one reporting on the Braves.
He's very basic, IMHO. David O'Brien is an unrepentant asshole, but a pretty good writer -- I really enjoy reading his pre-game stories. Neither appear to be willing to step on any toes tough, which is rather unfortunate.
We won't get started on the Braves' pathetic semi-pro blogging community.
